These terms govern your use of the HAP Consulting Ltd websites (hapconsulting.co.uk and shop.hapconsulting.co.uk) and any purchases made through our online shop. By accessing or using our websites, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the websites.

You may use our websites for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

All content on our websites, including text, graphics, logos, images, page layouts, software, the HAP Consulting brand identity, and all editorial content published under Perspectives by HAP is the property of HAP Consulting Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download and print pages from our websites for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you:

  • Do not modify the content
  • Do not remove any copyright, trademark or proprietary notices
  • Do not use any content for commercial purposes without our written permission

Our name, logo and brand marks are registered trademarks and may not be used without our prior written consent.

Online shop terms of sale

The following terms apply to purchases made through our online shop at shop.hapconsulting.co.uk.

Products and pricing

  • All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. VAT will be shown separately at checkout.
  • We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions and prices are accurate. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will contact you to inform you and give you the option to proceed or cancel the order.
  • Product availability is subject to change. We reserve the right to limit quantities.

Placing an order

  • When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We will send you an order confirmation by email, but this does not constitute acceptance.
  • A binding contract is formed when we dispatch the product (for physical goods) or deliver the download link (for digital products).
  • We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors or stock limitations.

Payment

  • Payment is taken at the point of order via our secure payment gateway.
  • We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
  • All transactions are processed securely. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

Delivery (physical products)

  • Delivery options, estimated timescales and costs are displayed at checkout.
  • Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed. We will inform you if there is a significant delay.
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. Title to the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.

Digital products

  • Digital products (downloads, digital resources) are delivered electronically. A download link will be provided upon payment.
  • Once a digital product has been downloaded or accessed, the right to cancel may be lost (see Cancellations and returns below).

Cancellations and returns

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 are not affected.

Physical products:

  • You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, for any reason or no reason.
  • To cancel, contact us at info@hapconsulting.co.uk with your order number. You must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, at your own cost, in their original condition and packaging.
  • We will refund the purchase price (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
  • If goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Contact us and we will resolve the issue.

Digital products:

  • You have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not yet downloaded or accessed the digital content.
  • By downloading or accessing digital content, you acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once the download or access begins (as permitted under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
  • If a digital product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Warranty

  • Physical products carry the statutory warranty rights provided by UK consumer law.
  • We do not provide additional manufacturer warranties unless specifically stated on the product page.

Consulting services

Our consulting services (including strategy calls, discovery calls, advisory engagements and training) are governed by separate engagement agreements or statements of work agreed with each client. These terms of use do not constitute a consulting agreement.

Content published on our websites, including articles, case studies, newsletters and insights under Perspectives by HAP, is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice. You should seek appropriate professional advice before making business decisions based on any content published on our websites.

Accuracy of information

We take reasonable care to ensure the information on our websites is accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate or current. Content may be updated, amended or removed at any time without notice.

Third-party links

Our websites may contain links to third-party websites, products or services. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content, policies or practices of third-party websites and accept no responsibility for them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

  • We do not accept liability for any indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss or damage arising from your use of or inability to use our websites or services
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from or connected to our websites shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HAP Consulting Ltd, its directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our websites.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HAP Consulting Ltd regarding your use of our websites. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

Governing law and jurisdiction
